Graphing Exponential
when a > 0 and the b is between 0 and 1, the graph will be decreasing (decaying).
For this example, each time x is increased by 1, y decreases to one half of its previous value.

Such a situation is called Exponential Decay.

when a > 0 and the b is greater than 1, the graph will be increasing (growing).
For this example, each time x is increased by 1, y increases by a factor of 2.

- Compound Interest is the interest paid on both the principal and the interest you earned so far on that principal.

Characteristics of Graphs
One to One: line that passes the vertical line test and is horizontal
local max\min: more than 1 point at its highest or lowest on a graph
X- intercept: point that crosses the X- Axis
Y- intercept: point that crosses the Y- Axis
Function: line that passes the vertical line test
